Country starts sing about a lot of things but you’ve got to admit, love is the most frequent. We like the songs that talk more about shotguns than ADT and pride in the country but who are we to judge? Here are a few of country’s best love song writers
Brad Paisley – He’s got a way with words and when he’s using them to sing about his beloved wife it’s practically poetry. His voice alone is soothing but when you listen to his sweet lyrics (or so our wives tell us) you just melt.
Keith Urban – He’s got that breathy kind of voice that makes ladies swoon and he loves to talk about what he knows best: love. His songs are all over the “First Dance” tracks at weddings and there’s a good reason why.
Gretchen Wilson – We love her no holds barred viewpoint on love and her sarcastic take on dating. If we ever get sick of all the sappy sweet stuff on the radio we just put on some Gretchen and laugh out loud.
