In 2018, Salvatore Gambino, founder of Sustain, began making music from a place of deep darkness. Music became his outlet to express the weight of depression and anxiety that overwhelmed him. In 2020, after being sent home from college, he continued creating music while wrestling with life’s deeper questions and searching for purpose.

Everything changed in 2023 when Salvatore—known to many as Tore—encountered the Lord Jesus Christ in a powerful, personal way. One night, in the quiet of his room, he heard a still, internal voice say, “Seek Christ.” From that moment, the Lord began to completely transform his life—lifting the depression, filling him with a peace he had never known, and igniting a new sense of hope and purpose.

As his heart changed, so did his music. What once revolved around heartbreak and pain began to reflect hope, faith, and the redemptive love of Christ.

In 2025, led by the Lord, Salvatore launched Sustain as a platform to serve and equip other artists. Sustain exists not only to provide high-quality creative services but, more importantly, to encourage artists to build their foundation in the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe music has the power to transform hearts, and when rooted in Christ, the songs we create and the words we speak can carry eternal impact.
